i go to the gym every other day for 3hours a time if u r goin nudist get in shape theirs nothin worse then a over weight middle aged man
Staying healthy and physically fit is the most important activity we can pursue, for if we don’t take care of ourselves nobody else is going to. This is especially true as we enter into our senior years, but a well balanced life style should be adopted at the earliest age and continued for life. As for me; I practice yoga, strength exercise using light weights and walk 6 kilometers five times a week, completing the walk in 70 minutes. My advice; slowdown, enjoy your food and your exercise as well as all aspects of your life to the fullest.
US Army Retired. Always have been in-shape. Had MS induced on me in the late 90's from the vaccines given to me in the Army. Not bitter about it-just know that if I get out of shape, (not that I would without MS), I'll be asking for health problems. Like I told my wife at the time when she got angry when I mentioned to her getting fat, "Get that weight off-I love you and want you around as long as possible". LOL!!!-she could not get mad at that. If you love someone-you should stay healthy and FIT. Do it for them. I run, bike, lift and am not a gym rat-I workout at the gym, not live there!-Steph
I have gone back to walking. There is a local track that is kind of hidden, and I walk it very late in the evening 2-3 times a week (after I leave my daughter with my ex). I'm also working on re-setting up my tread mill. I don't overly mind the way I look, but I would be happier having a little less belly fat.
I go to the gym regularily, because I want to look and feel my best!
That being said, I do not think the naturist community is any more overweight than the textiled community is. There is just nothing to hide the flaws! To be honest, I admire those who do not worry about body image!
It's been just over 6mos.since my last post here and my regimine has consisted of jogging and hiking, with some push-ups and squats also.I'm now down to 170lbs. and healthier than ever.I have before and afters in my profile. It's not a huge difference but I feel it.That's what counts.doesn't it?
I have been lifting weights and doing aerobics for years as part of my overall fitness program. Everyone has different goals but my goal was to continue to increase muscular strength while doing yoga/pilates for flexiblity and aerobics for cardiovascular fitness. Congratulations to all who have chosen some form of fitness activity to pursue. Fitness programs can take place anywhere and involve all kinds of different activities. It can take place in a gym or can involve simple everyday activities such as parking your car far away from stores and walking the extra distance to the store, climbing flights of stairs as opposed to taking the elevator or lift, or going out for walks, hikes, swimming, volleyball, etc. The benefits of pursuing a fitness activity include better health (who really enjoys sickness?), better quality of life, and a longer life.
I've been dieting for the past 2 months and have gotten to my goal of 180lbs..Now I can begin to lift weights and start to tone what needs to be toned.Trust me,there's alot! Not that I have a problem with what I look like nude. However I also like to look good in clothes also.
