Having erection is simply a normal healthy human process and it is my personal opinion that free or sexual health you should never attempt to mentally dissuade or restrict that process. If an erection presents itself I believe you should always embrace it and allow it and enjoy it. However when at nudist venues or nudist public areas the normal protocol is to Simply inconspicuously cover up indefinitely not stroll around presenting it to open viewing by others. I think the main concern here would be if it is a family area as opposed to adults only.

This old question keeps coming up, no pun intended! The chances of getting an erection in company are very slim, it really is not an issue. The only time I ever had problems was when in the company of friends who had a teenage daughter. She would take great delight in getting very close and brushing my penis with her hand as she passed by. She would them look to see if any changes had taken place, which usually they would. Sadly, I had to try to avoid my friends as it was not something I could allow to continue.

You know, it is a natural thing in the adult world, you need to recognize tho that when kids are around, they might point-laugh-"think" clothie thots-but hey it happens. All you can do is jump in the deep end of the pool, or roll over, or in some way, "comfortably" conseal it from view till it desides to behave. I liken it to breast feeding, we know it happens-but for some reason , the population as a whole does not want to see it. Males of all ages have it happen-it is normal, just a few last hang-ups from the textile world that have snuck in to make us worry about it. NOW if you have a bone and go walking around in front of folks-you deserve what you get, from angry words to being asked to leave that 25-40 dollar nudist club day, and you would have deserved it.-Good luck LOL_and I just read all teh comments. The gals here must not have kids-naturally or self-induced, I'd be just as concerned about a 7" clitoris swinging around my child as a 7' erection. But if anyone has seen the 7" clitoris, please post photos-reall And as far as this question is concerned-male's erection are a bit more sightly that a female breasts so male that do not want to offend-especially teh new guys on the block should be able to ask those questions and not get ridiculed. Natuist all my life-rather see it asked than performed and then they get in trouble.

Of course, if for no other reason than to protect the long battle with non-nudist who argue nudity = sex. Imagine the male nudist who has finally found a woman to date and after several months she has agreed to visit a club with him, finally secumbing to his arguments of a non-threatening and non-sexual environment. Then you raise the flag pole. It is just not a message we need to be sending.

Geez, here we go again. Does everyone forget that some nudist situations involve families and children and are not solely for the pleasure of adults? If I had children present and some dude was displaying "Mr Stiffy," I would be guarded and offended too. Is it too much to ask to keep that chubby to yourself in such a situation? Can't we think about others? If it's an all-adult environment, then it may be a different story, but isn't it considerate to think about those around us?

Don't see as (Naked Lady points out) all the fuss. I think we all just move on.. if it is ignored, it likely will just wilt.. Personally, my massage lady thought it funny that I was never hard when she was seeing me naked .. and I at the time wondered why, but I think its just being relaxed and as we get relaxed, it really doesn't happen as often and is no big deal.. Unless you help it grow.. (ie manually and that definitely is not a nudist nor naturist consideration )

Bob joins a very exclusive nudist colony. On his first day he takes off his clothes and starts wandering around. A gorgeous petite blonde walks by him and the man immediately gets an erection. The woman notices his erection, comes over to him grinning sweetly and says: "Sir, did you call for me?". Bob replies "No, what do you mean?" She says: "You must be new here; let me explain. It's a rule here that if I give you an erection, it implies you called for me." Smiling, she then leads him to the side of a pool, lays down on a towel, eagerly pulls him to her and happily lets him have his way with her. Bob continues exploring the facilities. He enters a sauna, sits down, and farts. Within a few moments a huge, horribly corpulent, hairy man with a firm erection lumbers out of the steam towards him. The Huge Man says: "Sir, did you call for me?" Bob replies "No, what do you mean?" "You must be new here, it is a rule that when you fart, it implies you called for me." The huge man then easily spins Bob around, bends him over the bench and sodomizes him. Bob rushes back to the colony office. He is greeted by the smiling naked receptionist: "May I help you?". Bob says: "Here is your card and key back. You can keep the $500 joining fee." "But Sir, you've only been here a couple of hours; you only saw a small fraction of our facilities." Bob replies: "Listen lady, I am 58 years old, I get a hard-on about once a month, but I fart 15 times a day. No thanks!" i agree with several other people who have posted, it is rude to have an erection. an accidental one is understandable, but when your parading arund like a jackass it down right disgusting

What we find offensive are the Men? and Boys in the Dunes, or strutting their stuff up and down an Official Naturist Beach used by families. If they did it in the Park or a street, they would be arrested for 'Flashing' or 'Lewd' behaviour. A Nudist or Naturist beach or place, is not there for them to get their 'sexual jollies'. A standard of conduct is required in all situations. A accidental erection will of course 'Go Away' unless created deliberatly.

KaiThuy, So someone drives above the speed limit, therefore breaking a law. This person is obviously a law breaker of every kind, probably a terrorist, rapist and mass murderer for good measure. Or have I misunderstood your logic here? Just because I think men can have an erection without being outcast for it you like to think I advocate pissing and shagging - and in public, too?! Blimey. In a society where public nudity is not allowed, you like to assume that a fellow naturist is talking about a naturist issue in public terms? Further, the part you quote me on, not being comfortable with all aspects of being around naked people, has, in no way, anything to do with "public displays" of "bodily functions". I don't know about you, but when I'm naked, I still use the loo. Going by the insane logic you "paint", women should not be allowed to be seen at a naturist event whilst on their menstrual cycle, because that is a natural bodily function which some may not like to see.

I never understand this. Natursits are supposed to be able to embrace the naked body in any shape/size/age etc, yet some can't get round the fact that men get erections. It's NATURAL! Natural. Naturist. See any connection?! If you find an erection offensive, I don't think you're comfortable enough with all the aspects of being around other naked people. Women get aroused just as much as men, but because there's an obvious sign when it's a man feeling aroused, it doesn't make it bad. Also, not all erections are a result of sexual arousal. Just my opinion.

Hi Kaithuy, I think we are going to have blogs, discussion and forums on this topic until someone says yes it is ok to have an erection at a nudist event. I agree with you that the topic is covered more than necessary so why continue? Only that the answer is not the one that is wanted.

You men seem to worry about this too much. Its very rare I see a man fully aroused on the beach but when I do so long as he is not being obscene or anything its fine by me. If it was self inflicted and you were being stupid towards others like that, well thats different and shouldnt be done. Other than that...I personally like to see men like it and after all, we all get aroused when naked with others at times...dont we?

I have read, and agree with, that you would not want to go around with an erection in front of your mother, sister or other family member. Having said this, there are places where nudists (or people who call themselves nudists) go to hangout with other like-minded adults and erections are part of their lifestyle. Eg hedonism beaches /resorts/swingers

Shovelhead2000's response seems quite a good solution to dealing with some one who DELIBERATLY creates an erection. In the case of 'FLASHERS' one suggested solution is to approach them and say 'NOT SEEN ONE AS SMALL AS THAT FOR A LONG TIME!' In the case of 'ACCIDENTAL' erections, The problem reduces after an hour or so!; and Even less as you get older
