What a wonderful weekend spent with the naturist group in Thailand to celebrate the Thailand New Year. New friends were made and old friends re-united. Not as much squirt gun fighting at the resort as I would like but it really was a battle zone downtown. Lucky, we had rent our self a car so we are very happy watching people pouring water all over each other and got drenched.
All in all, another wonderful week of sight seeing, nude sun bathing and skinny dipping. Can’t wait for my next holiday in Chiang Mai.
Thailand, again? Yes ;) Not that I am particularly fond of Thailand, it is just price is more affordable and flight schedule fits my need. This time, I went to northern Thailand, visiting Oriental Village Resort in Chiang Mai. Oriental Village Resort is not walled up like other naturist resorts I visited in Thailand. Instead, you will only find wide open fields and a great mountain view when you arrive.
Although it was raining on the day I arrived. I still can’t help it and striped naked immediately after putting down my suitcase to have lunch in the restaurant followed by a short stroll around the resort with my umbrella. The air was clean and the breeze feels very comfortable. It was a very different feeling from the hot weather in Thailand we are used to.
I went to bed early tonight because I need my rest after my flight and be prepare for the upcoming 2-day excursion to the famous “Golden Triangle”. Upon return of my trip, the weather finally turns to my favor. Sun was out and sky was relatively clear. Needless to say, I spared no time and head for the pool to swim and sunbath.
The days that follows were wonderful. I usually start my day after breakfast on the pool side follow by lunch. Afterwards, the owner of the resort arranged all sorts of sight seeing such as elephant farm, tiger farm, temples, hot spring, cave visit, etc. while making sure I’d have sufficient time for more pool time before dinner.
A week gone by without you noticing it and I have to head home with nothing but great memories to share.
Nude season of 2014 is approaching fast. While summer sun is still months away, weather is starting to warm up and to celebrate a warm end-of-spring day, me and a group of local nudists went on our 1st 2014 boating trip. Nothing fancy, just a quick spin around the peninsula, but it is a welcoming break following a bone chilling winter.
Winter arrived early this year and it is already freezing outside. I would like to take this opportunity to wish all my friends, my readers and system administrator a merry Christmas and a happy nude year in 2014.
Looking back, this was a very eventful year. I celebrated new year with a local nudist group in China. Soon after, I was busy finding a blogger to move my Yahoo! blog. Follow by planning of my summer trip to Barcelona, Spain. I was delighted in joining several nude cruise in summer. Best of all was my travel to Taiwan to meet with my nudist friends and spent a delightful week end.
My new year wish is to find more nudist & nude friendly places and share it with my dear friends.
Almost 6 months without a blog certainly qualify as lazy :p Fact is, many things happened that requires my attention. First and foremost is of course the closing down of Yahoo! blog service, which makes me busy finding another suitable host. NF blog space is fine, it is just not my "primary" choice because it lacks functionality found in most full blown blog spaces.
As we all know, there aren't many blog servers tolerate nudist blog and images. This time, I'd like to find a proper host comfortable not only in nudist blog but also full frontal nude photos. That's why the silence because I had been testing out some options and hopefully will settle down within the year. Then I'll need to re-print my name cards and contact all my nudist friends worldwide ... tonnes of work ahead :(
On the brighter side, apart from regular dinner gathering, I also teamed up with a group of local nudists earlier in September and enjoyed a relaxing nude cruise day. Lots of water and sun and sunburn :D LOL
This time, I teamed up with a Taiwan naturists group and spent a great nude vacation. There were over 20 naturists from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia. Upon arrival, my Taiwan hosts were kind enough to pick me up at the airport, follow by a much needed coffee break and dinner. I was introduced to naturists from other countries and shared experiences.
Day 1: I departed from Kaoh Siung in the morning and after a 2 hour train ride, arrived at a hot spring area where we stay in a B&B with its own pool. Located up on the hill side away from prying eyes, I was able to relax in hot springs while others chit chat over a cup of tea. I was impressed by how oily the water feels and the smell of sulfur.
Day 2: After breakfast, it was time to pack up and move to another B&B in Dulan. This B&B is even more private! Occupying a hillside, the B&B was made up by lots of open space and five small guest houses. Sitting next to a cliff, it offers and stunning view of the Pacific Ocean. Sunbathing and strolling inside feels like living in a well established nudist resort in other countries. After dinner, a member is kind enough to share her recent experience on a nude vacation in Malaysia.
Day 3: Approaching the end of my journey, the star event of the day is traveling to a nearby beach to enjoy the beautiful sunrise and skinny dipping in the Pacific. A perfect way to end my already excellent vacation.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank my host, especially their wives who prepared many delicious meals during my stay. Thanks!
A naturist group based in Thailand just published the first issue of their official club magazine. Feel free to read their magazine if you are interested in nudism / naturism, or just want to learn more about them.
Moving into October, autumn wind becomes noticeable. A group of local nudist decided to hold an goodbye nude cruise while it is still warm and sunny. There were about 30 of us and we used two boats. Gathering in the morning, we proceed to an isolated beach where we can enjoy skinny dipping, nude sunbathing, fishing and some great photoing time. Needless to say, I ended up looking like a roast pig as usual :D LOL
This is too important a piece not to share! Stephen Goug started hiking in nude across England with his girl friend, as a result of his action, he was constantly being arrested, trial in the court of law and imprisoned in jail
There were two resorts in Pattaya, Thailand which allow their guests to practice nudism / naturism. They were Chan Resort (completed in 2011) and the older Chan Twin Resort. Recently, a nudist friend in Thailand told me Chan Twin Resort was chartered for one year by a Russian business man as a nursery and day care center. Despite the owner Mr. Moo confirmed their nude policy will remain the same, there will be no room left for rental in the coming year. Moreover, Chan Twin Resort will stop taking guest for day visit to practice nudism / naturism. If you’d like to enjoy nudism / naturism in Pattaya, Chan Resort will be your only choice for the time being.
A tropical storm just passed the territory last week. Weather today is great and several nudist friends of mine decided to head for a hike and enjoy the sun. We took a ferry at 9am and soon arriving at an outlining island. Immediately, we head for an ruins on the island. At first, we were hoping for some nude hiking. Sadly, we ran into the country management team and had to scrap the idea. All we managed was several snap shots.
We head back to the pier for lunch and decided to try the other side of the island in the afternoon. We strike gold and there were no one around. Needless to say, we strip naked and finished the remaining trail. Once we were naked, it is just so much comfortable! Sun is warm and wind is cool, excellent way to re-juvenile our tired body. While taking lots of photos, we finished our hour long trip before we realised it. We head home with the memory of a well spent day.
Mollie and Alex are part of a growing group of teens and twenty somethings embracing the world of public nudity - a contemporary phenomenon that's been driven by social networking sites such as Facebook as well as niche websites like Naked Vegan Cooking.
They are on a quest to normalise nudity, question the media's obsession with the body beautiful, and encourage other young people to liberate themselves by simply going naked - in the streets, in cafes or at art shows.
The new nudists are keen to take the nudist lifestyle beyond the old fashioned naturist clubs. So why is this pastime increasing in popularity and what do the parents think about their child revealing all in the most public of places?
The documentary was first aired on Channel 4 in UK on 21-Jan-12: http://dai.ly/wFua08
Chan Resort is located inside Soi 15 of Thappraya Road away from tourist districts. To reach the resort, you just walk straight ahead from alley entrance for about 10 minutes, passing any intersections you come across. The alley is poorly lid at night and you will feel safer with a torch in hand. Bar and restaurant can be find near alley entrance and you can take a Songthaews to reach tourist areas such as Jomtien Bay, Walking Street and Beach Road with ease.
The resort is rather small scaled. There is a swimming pool and two building blocks built around it, providing an reception desk, dining area and 13 rooms. Each room comes with its own balcony/patio, double bed, toilet and shower, refrigerator, television, etc.
The corridors leading to guest rooms are rather “open” and can be seen by pedestrians and guests in neighboring Sugar Beat Resort. In fact, I saw their cleansing ladies several times during my stay, but they were busy and not looking at my direction.
The roof was meant to be a sun deck but it looks unfinished -- lighting has yet to be install and there are no fixtures. Sunbathing on the roof at this point would not be enjoyable. Fortunately, there is considerable distance to nearest high rise, so privacy is not an issue.
Rooms A1, A2, B1 and B2 are all facing the other building block, having no view at all. If you are shy, you may feel uncomfortable having your room directly facing reception / staircase. Rooms A3, A4 and A5 are all pool side rooms, just scale the patio wall and you will have direct access to the pool. What puzzles me is why they do not install a small gate to allow easy access? 1/F rooms B3, B4 and B5 are all facing Phanon Resort across the street. Fortunately, Phanon Resort is most 1 storey bungalows, so there won’t be any major problem. The remaining 1/F rooms C1, C2 and C3 all faces an undeveloped piece of land next door.
You can dine in the dinning area besides the reception desk. Reasonably priced food can be order from 7am to 8pm. Although choice is limited, It will be perfect in rainy days or you simply feel too lazy to take the trip to restaurant. A small self service counter is open all day with crackers, hot water, instant coffee, etc. I found this is the perfect spot to wind down after a long day and chat with other guests.
A word of warning. Floor tiles around swimming pool is super slippery! Be extra careful if your feet is wet!
