Why do so many 'naturists' as they like to call themselves, only have self taken indoor photographs? Why none in a naturist environment like a campsite or the beach? Does stripping off in front or your computer and taking a photo of yourself at arms length or in your wardrobe/bathroom mirror qualify you as a naturist? Don't get me wrong, I have been a single naturist and never asked anyone to take a photograph of me naked either. (Imagine that conversation on the beach lol). I understand that it could be difficult, but not impossible surely? If you can take an arms length or time-delayed photograph in your front room, would it be so difficult to do the same on a beach? Related to the topic of self taken photographs...Why do the majority of these predominantly male users feel the need to almost always have an erect or semi erect penis? If they did that on a beach in Spain, they would either have the police drag them off or get the s**t kicked out of them! I would appreciate your comments and views.

I must say, that being a single naturist male, it is quite difficult to find someone willing to take nude photos of me. Luckily I have had a couple of friends in the past who did this for me (my Holkham Bay photos).

It seems this is recurrent subject on every nude site. I arrived to these one trough what i call my home site, mentioned on a group discussion; and exploring it i discover much more explicit genital pictures, both male and female, than on my home site. I don´t know who started these sites and under what purpose but these one comes with a nice introducing sentence "where nudist friends and singles feel at home". I suppose we should be comfortable then....and what i saw in several blogs was the contrary. Uncomfortable people trying to pass that discomfort to others. I doubt those sex seekers even get into the blogs, they just scroll pictures. Anyway, filtering a little bit more the information would't be no harm to anyone...don't know who could do that job?

We have a few (very few) pics of us taken at a beach we frequented in Oregon. If friends ask it isn't a problem to let them see the pics. A couple of them have gone on to try naturism for themselves. Would either of us post them online? No. We're just normal out of shape Americans, seen one, seen them all. And both have security sensitive jobs, which is why our real names rarely if ever get used on naturist related sites. As for "status" questions? Straight, happy with each other, just looking for friends. Pretty simple.

Fisherman576, To follow on from the point you make about 'infiltration' of Sex Seekers and the Top Shelf Surfers that turn up on 'Naturist/Nudist sites, I don't think that there will ever be a solution to keeping 'them out'. Naturists come in all sorts of shapes, sizes and with beliefs of what they consider is acceptable behaviour. These might differ from our own, filtering out those people that we would prefer not to be associated with, takes time and wastes effort and sometimes you feel slightly 'let down' that you did not spot their sexual agenda's at an early stage. As for those with claims to be naturists but are something different, we know of one Card Carrying member of BN (Central Council for British Naturisum) that appears on perhaps 12 sites seeking sexual contacts of various preferences, he is a Web Cam 'performer', he even runs his own 'Naturist' web site so he can 'cherry pick' persons with the same 'interests' as himself; Some months there is ZERO activity on this site which is in terminal decline as members vote with there feet and distance themselves from him. Though he is well know as a 'Sex pest', he still managed to get membership of a respected organisation. Sadly in our inherently dishonest world, there is probably no solution. regardless of whatever 'vetting' is put in place, but in the first instance, you have to take people as they portray themselves - until you find out otherwise.

Hello Brian and Susan, I didn't see that one. I wonder if he was a gold member? Just that I doubt that the moderators would have removed him if he wasn't. Quite a bizarre claim though lol! All the best Andy and Clair

could not agree more brian i am begining to wonder just how many true naturist/nudist there really are onthe internet seems at times that the top shelve brigade are gradually encroaching into the genuine naturist sites and the only way we shall elude them is by having our own web site similar to a lot of clubs were you have membership checked out then verified before admitance

At least the fella that put this in his profile, did not have a picture of himself or his favourite toy. As he said ..... I've got a long thin cock with a huge head on it that people, men and women, love. It's often been called a fire hydrant or mushroom head. He was removed from the site by the moderators, so well done the moderators

JustPlainNude... ...Well opinions vary I suppose! However, I am not trying to get myself noticed and think that a lack of bigotry from a self righteous arsehole would put any group of people in a better light than any amount of 'getting in shape'!

Justplainnude, You sum the situation very neatly. The position of the Single Male has so much Fact and Fable written and talked about it that it is difficult to decide what actually happens. Our own experiences in North Norfolk, UK at an official naturist beach tells us that you can expect 'Gays' meeting for sexual activities in the dunes,(Or window shopping) Bi's as well, also Straight Males without a supportive partner and males just dipping their toes in the water to decide if traditional naturisum is for them. Of course we have our quota of the so called 'Meercats' that often come with Cameras and Binoculars and creep as close as they can to others (Especially M/F couples and the brave Single Female that on rare occasion arrives.) We even get naturists/nudists, with or without partners/friends that behave impecibly as well, so they do exist.

The horny men (either hetero or homo) ruin the experience for the rest of us. (true nudists) The truth is nobody cares about your pecker. If you want to be noticed then get your body in shape and then you can stick out in a crowd AND represent nudists in a better light. Other wise you scare off the true nudists and people new to the idea. The clothed beachgoers may stop thinking we are all freaks like yourself as well.

We also have problems getting our picture taken outdoors. In the resorts the privacy rule is enforced. We have to be very careful who we ask to take our nude picture because you CAN get locked up. Also if you work in the education system and the wrong person sees a nude photo of you, this will cost you your job. So please be careful

Erections - It happens to all of us, or has happened to us all in the past. But is it really necessary for SOME males to create 'one' and wander about with it stuck out. Too much Viagra? Our nearest Naturist beach at Holkham, North Norfolk has its Quota of 'Look at me and mine, brigade' these either stand up on the edge of the dunes, or walk up and down, playing with themselves. Hence, couples and the few families that visit are voting with their feet and going elsewhere.

barenature...we think that Brian summed it up nicely! Erections are natural in a sexual environment but naturism isn't sex! In this country it isn't illegal to walk outdoors naked.you would almost certainly be arrested for a public order offence if you did though. But to walk outdoors naked with an erection. Would be considered indecent exposure and you would certainly be arrested and placed on the sex offenders register. Pictures of erections are just as indecent and indicate that the member is interested in sex and not naturism. We can't see how it is more interesting either.

Barenature, You say erections in males are 'natural', perhaps for some males it is normal to walk round with their 'little pole' stuck out in front of them, or whenever they pose to have their photograph taken, 'It' rises to the occasion. The same with many of the photographs of males laid out on a bed indoors. As many ladies say, there has to be more to a man than him playing with his favourite toy; they are seeking males with more than just 'self interest'. The sad thing is that many so called naturists/nudists that appear on sites are just seeking sexual kicks rather than having and valuing the traditional standards and benefits of naturisum. You say you like looking at fellas with erections, it is noted that members are STILL WAITING FOR YOUR PHOTO's - WITH or WITHOUT.

It's nice when ...... People are truthful about themselves, people don't need to know your lifes history, but if what you say about yourself - without embelishments, is trueful it helps filter out those that are not of interest to either party. Then there are the pics used on profiles, some might be quite recent, others might be years and years old. A picture of someone taken 20 - 30 years ago does not really relate to someone who is that much older. Still it is the whole person including their mind and wit that you could be interested in.
