I recently heard that they were going to start citing nudists at San Onofre after Labor Day. I'm flying into Los Angeles specifically to visit before this happens. I've heard various rumors about the citations not going into force because there is still legislation continuing on the issue. But wanted to know:
Is anyone going that weekend as sort of a last Hurrah?
Is anyone going after Labor Day to protest despite the threat of a citation? I've heard some are.
At any rate, if you're going to be there that weekend say hello!

yeah, let's all go labor day weekend and enjoy the final days of nudity before it closes it's doors to the lifestyle. We'll surf, play V ball, swim... it'll be fun.

Your information pretty much matches that latest that I have heard.¿ It seems the new commissioner is a woman, and she definately wants the nudity stopped.¿ I think AANR is still working it hard, and hopefully they will succeed. As for citations, I personally think the lifeguards have no interest in enforcing any anti-nudity laws there.¿ And I am not sure that Orange County will send sheriff's out there to write tickets.¿ It would seem like a waste of time and money on budgets that are already stretched thin.¿ So, we'll see. If there was any way I could be out there on Labor Day, I would.¿ I was just at San Onofre in June, and it was wonderful.¿ Hope you have a great time.¿ I am sure it will be crowded.
