Here in the U.K it is being suggested, perhaps with some justification that Membership of our Naturist Clubs and even those that go to our Official Naturist Beaches is getting older. Also the age pattern of those appearing on web sites. Where are the younger naturists, is it something that does not appeal to them?
What is the age pattern you see? and your thoughts and reasons for this.

Perhaps the older we get , the more we are able to accept who we are and what we look like. I mean if you don't like what you see , the door is always open , just close it on the way out. I am who and what I am and can't or won't change me just because I don't meet with someone elses approval. Probably just older and more accepting of others now than when younger. We are not Barbie and whoever he was now. So get used to it!!!

I see that a lot of younger people don't even have photos. No doubt for reasons of their own ,but this is a nudist site. Shouldn't we all be proud to be nudists. Don't know about carrying the flag but it just feels normal to me.

Recent trips to my local beach have seen a reasonable number of younger naturists there, though not as many as older people. On a good weekend the ratio can get more even.

Talking to some of them, mention of naturist clubs or our national organisations will sometimes get responses along the lines of too many rules. If you read some of the blogs/forums where certain people who hold office in national naturist groups participate, its not unusual to see them asking how to get more young people involved, while holding long-running discussions(the word - arguments -  could also be used). That puts people off, myself included.

I'm not saying throw away the rules, but when it starts to resemble politics(what proportion of politicians really, really work for their electorate?), it gets very, very boring. Many naturists want to relax and socialise with like-minded people, not have a political argument whirling around them.
