I was crusing the TV channels last night and came across 'REALLY' they were doing a program on the fact that it is NOT ILLEAGAL for FEMALES as well as MALES top go topless in New York State, even on the main streets.
Needless to say, the majority of the public and even some of the Police were unaware that Females going topless were NOT BREAKING THE LAW. The producers interviewed both participants and members of the general public for their views on this being allowed and being done by others.
It could be quite a while before the idea 'takes off' and large numbers of ladies are doing it.

You being seen or you showing yourself nude become exhibitionisum. If you go to an 'Official Naturist (Clothes optional) beach' in the UK you will usually get a few, These are generally fellas standing on the top of the dues 'Playing with themselves' or walking up and down in front of people on the beach. These are the ones that are virtually shouting 'Look at me'.
So where do you draw the line between having no problem at being seen in the nude by others and actually flaunting yourself? Then of course you have the nude hikers walking paths frequented by clothed hikers who they are bound to bump into or pass on the path. There have been recent court cases in the U.K on this happening.

Newbie's coming out?

Eventually the summer and a bit of warmth will start and seasoned Naturists will be able to play 'Spot the Newbie's' These are the ones with 'White Bits' that look nevously around when they arrive at a Naturist/Nudist beach. These can also be the ones where ''The wife' if there is one that reluctently takes her clothes off and looks round to see if anyone is watching.
Perhaps members might wish to tell N.F Members how they made the 'Giant Step for Mankind' when they first went nuddie in public.

Scarcity of Ladies on nudist sites

The point has been raised by others, BUT just why do Naturist/Nudist sites have so few ladies as members. Whilst they are obviously a few genuine ladies still remaining, these are just a very small percentage of the total membership.
Then males that are classed as 'Wrinkles' (Myself included) so often get approaches from 'Ladies' that are say they are 20-25 year olds, but not generally from those of older age groups the latter presumably because these actually read profiles and see that we are already committed.
I actually met Susan via N.F back in July 2006,(we have been together since Feb/March 2007) at that time even though they were well spread out across the different parts of the world, there were quite a number of POSSIBLE matches for a single male.
So, the question must be 'Where have the ladies gone?'

It can affect about 50% of the population, and it can have it uses, but is it really necessary for some males to think that having one is about all that can be said about them. Surely they must have other features that are worthy of comment or their claim to fame. We had one fella from New Zealand who was not going to win any competitions on size, asking N.F members to chose his 'best' photograph.

Dutch Weed Killer

In Amsterdam and other places in Holland you were able to buy your 'Weed' in the famous 'Coffee Houses' that offered it quite openly in many forms. Soon, unless you have a Dutch Identity Card, or a 'Weed Card' as a 'Foreigner' you will not be able to do so. The ban is currently in place in several provences in Holland and will be operated over all the country from the end of the year. In the past drug use in Holland has been regarded as a social problem and dealt with as such, however the need for money to purchase it has led to higher crime levels and the money filtering through to finance major crime. Back in the U.K, Judging by local press reports on Police raids, Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, near where we live, famed for its horticultural skills seems well in the running to be the place where both professional and hobby gardeners are busy producing 'Home Grown'. Whilst those convicted of growing it to sell on, get convictions and maybe a jail sentence, the main penalty is that the courts get the right to confiscate assets bought from the profits of crime - sometimes this is into the $100,000 of USA dollars in value.

Will fuel costs kill trips to Nuddie venues?

Here in the U.K we have a mini crisis, the Fuel Tanker Drivers have been threatening to go on strike, so the Gov, suggested in its infinate wisdom that folks might like to top up their cars and even fill a few jerry (fuel) can with fuel. So folks panicked and often crreated long queues at Petrol stations. Whilst in the U.K we are allowed to store petrol in fuel containers, this is limited to 2 x 10 litres. These are used to fill your Mower etc. One lady in York was using a fuel container to fill a glass jug with petrol (which she was going to put in her daughters car) in her kitchen with gas stove on, it ignited and she has 40% burns over her body.
The price of fuel was already high, but out in the villages, £1.62 per litre $10.80 USA dollars per gallon is not unheard of. - Previously it had been about £1.42 per litre. Many Filling stations, have now sold out on either Diesel or petrol, some are out of both.
If it keeps at this level, we might be 'rationing' our trip to our nearest Naturist beach. The folks in our part of the country are known for being resourceful, On our local radio station, one fela was telling us that he had a cycle shop and had lots of bicycles for sale.

Who is to blame?

Here in the U.K petrol and diesel is hitting all time high prices. Petrol is about $9.00 USA dollars for 1 UK gallon and diesel almost $10.00 a gallon as well.
We are lucky that we have private gardens at our home so can go Nuddie when ever we want once the Postman has delivered our mail. The pity is that if we cut down on our travel, the nearest Naturist Beach to us is 35 miles away then you have to add in the $5.00 USA dollar parking fee, is where we have been meeting up with our friends
It looks as if we will have to have folks come to us and we will have to sacrifice some of our wine to help make the event a quality meet.. Every-day wine will soon be cheaper than fuel for the car.!

Arrested for Nude Hiking in UK

The national press and radio stations have carried reports (Feb 2012) on a 50 year old nude hiker (Nigel Keer) that was arrested in October 2011 for hiking nude on Otley Chevin in North Yorkshire an area of countyside frequented by other members of the public and walkers. Whilst he was not committing any sexual acts he was charged with causing 'Alarm and Distress' and causing 'Shock and Horror' by walking with just his walking boots on, and a rucksack on his shoulders. His defense was that he had at a time previously done the 3 Peaks Walk (A long distance walk) in the nude for charity, he had been featured on a nude calender and was also a member of the British Naturist Organisation. He also said that he had passed 15 people on the footpath and none of them had complained about him being nude. He was fined £150 with £150 Court costs. This is around $500 USA dollars.
In the past in the UK, there is even a Naturist Hiking Group and individuals that have generally had no problems on their nude hikes where there have chosen their route with care, but in this case it was an off duty policeman that decided to use the 'Causing Alarm and Distress' law to arrest the 'offender'.

That folks can not be more honest. You come across all sorts of people on Naturist/Nudist web sites. Some use sites just to get sexual opportunities. others to expand their social naturist contacts without sexual activity being on the menu. We came across one old fella that lives in the same general area as us in the UK, he appears on maybe a dozen sites; on some he professes his naturist creditials or others he is proclaiming his wide range of sexual interests. The current interest he has, is quite definatly 'hands on', he is training to be a massuse and is at the stage of taking his practical tests. The problem he is facing is that he is prone to ere****ns while working on someone elses body.
We will not be offering to be one of his subjects for his practical tests.
You might get a message from someone who appears to share your own interests, then days or even weeks down the time line, you start to discover that your agendas and interests are quite different from theirs. So the shame is, so much valuable time wasted that could have been saved if folks had been more open and honest at the start of communications.

Here the UK divorce from a Husband or Wife has always been a drawn out affair - even if you are both in agreement that the time has come to formally part. A business in Wales (Part of the UK) known as something like 'Quick Divorce Co' is offering a package deal where clients can fly into the Dominican Republic one afternoon,, see the judge next morning and fly home to the UK in the afternoon. All documents are translated from Spanish into English for you to avoid any misunderstandings.
If one of the 'couple' is not available for the trip, then all she/he has to do is to sign a Power of Attorney witnessed by a British Court Official' this allows the other person to act on the other partners behalf.
Sad is it not? The all inclusive price is £4,500 or just below $7,000 USA dollars.

Moderator gets offended !

Have just had one of our Forum items Zapped by the Moderator - it was entitled 'Sex Seekers or Nudists?' The language and words used whilst moderate and appropriate seem to have offended. It highlighted the problem of persons using Naturist (Nudist) web sites to get sexual opportunities of all types. We wonder if it is time the Moderators took notice of the complaints made to them by Females receiving unwelcome approaches and the photographs of genitilia being sent to them. Then there are the 'Chancers' looking for 3 somes etc. Forum items have also highlighted the problem of 'Straight Males' having sexual offers made to them by Bi's and Non Hetros - whether these approaches were 'Wind-ups' or Genuine expectations of acceptances of the offers, we can not say.
We realize that web sites will never be free of the 'sex pest' element, but the moderators should at least have the integrity to acknowledge that it exists and make some efforts to reduce it. Other Blogg items of the few that that have appeared in recent weeks, have mentioned why they are leaving the membership of N.F, is this significant?

It is nice to use the instant messenger service and see the person you are talking to 'Face to Face'. That is, always assuming that our Broadband connection can keep up and not drop out - We live in a quite slow broadband area on the edge of the Fens on the Norfolk/Cambridgeshire borders in the U.K. Then of course there is the speed at which I can type without becoming the message becoming illiterate with spelling and missed words. What puzzles is why do qite a few of the persons that use a web cam assume we would want to watch (Almost certainly HIM's) performing a sexual act on themselves; these are the ones called 'PERFORMERS', then of course especially males messaging to females, would the female want to be 'Directed' to do things to themselves. What some of the performers seem to forget is any web cam image or action can be downloaded and stored and even be passed on and on and on. Perhaps that is what they are seeking?

Here in Europe a French company has been manufacturing them using Silicone Gel that would normally be used in matresses. Some have had the plastic container burst and as the silicone leaks into the body, this causes serious health issues. The Prime Minister in France has even said that the ladies affected can have them medically removed Free of Charge. Here in the U.K (England) they are not judged to be a risk, so the ladies are stuck with them, unless they pay to have them removed themselves. The owner of the business in Franch is understood to have left the country and it is said he is in S. Leone.

Full Nudity to go in H & E Naturist Magazine.

Health and Efficiency (H & E) Naturist Magazine established back in 1900 in the U.K has announched in the Jan 2012 edition that due to commercial pressures and the need to move into the Mainstream and attract both a wider public as well as more advertisers, is to cease having full nudity within the magazine. Certainly no full frontal pictures will appear. The aim is that it will be sold in such high street shops as W.H Smith in the U.K - a major newsagent. It is hoped that the change will mean a move from within the 'Top Shelf' Porn mags to within other leisure mags lower down.
Over the years ownership of the magazine has changed a number of times.

In Norwich a town in East Anglia U.K from March 2012 - subject to the Local Authorities granting planning permission you will be able to have your hair cut by Topless HairDresser or Barber - which ever you prefer. The cost? just £30.00 which is about $45.USA Dollars. The premises which will be used were orginally a Topless Drinks Bar in the Clubland area of Norwich.
The service offered will be restricted to the Hair on a persons head, rather that other areas of a persons body. My own hairdresser keeps her clothes on and just charges me £6.50 GBP about $10.00 USA dollars, so I will not be going off to Norwich.

These are the ones (Generally Single Males) that stroll down the beach or at whichever naturist venue you are at and decide to attach themselves to you. These might enage you in a conversation mostly one sided from their side, which goes on, and on, and on. You are carefully questioned about everything they might want to know about you; if you say you are on a certain website, you are likely to get a message in a short period afterwards from this long lost 'friend' asking for a meet up or invite. Then there are the other 'Attachments' those can be the dreaded 'SM' he will come and put down his towel on the beach maybe just 6ft from you on a beach with acres of space to spread your towel.
Without being anti-social to others, we go to a beach to have a bit of quality time - mainly JUST HER and ME!
