Nudists & The Gay Community

As many of you know, I have been an advocate in favor of same sex marriage for some time now. All of a sudden, gay marriage has become legal here in California.
Though not gay myself, I plan to go to the Gay Pride Parade to celebrate this victory and enjoy some fun, maybe purchase a hot dog (they are huge at this event) and see how mainstream homosexual society is taking to the new law change. 52.2% Of American households are run by unmarried couples. This law change may very well change the demographic the other way so that more households are married.
Now I'm rambling. I know that much of the gay community is responsible for keeping certain beaches open to nude recreation, but how much of the nudist community actually supports the gay community?
Now, having posed my question, I'm hoping that my fellow nudists are open enough and comfortable enough in their sexuality to go out and show their support at the gay pride parades. Hope to see you all there.

Spotting Fellow Nudies Among the Textiles

As you know, nudism in the U.S. is kind of a hush hush underground lifestyle. I have often wondered however if there are ways to spot your fellow nudists when out in the textile world.
Maybe it's a lack of a fashion sense, wearing outdated clothes when out in public.
Perhaps it's ill fitting clothes, women wear pants that don't quite cover the butt crack, or shirts either too tight or too baggy.
Or do they keep as nude as possible? maybe they wear dresses or the guys wear tank tops and short, tight fitting shorts.
Possibly the conduct of wearing clothes. When they get up from a sitting position, they don't shift their shirt and pants manually to cover up like normal people do.
Or maybe I'm not as in touch with the nudist community as I thought and perhaps they are a group with their own cult rings and secret handshakes so they can identify one another out in the world.
Perhaps there is no difference in textile behavior to distinguish the nudies from the rest. Who knows? I just wish it were easier. In the absence of committing to being nude in public, it would be great to find out who is in support of it anyway.
So have any of you noticed any behavior traits out in public that may signify them as being nudist friendly?
